In studio to honour Bjørn Müller

March 24th. The Gratitudes chipped in on tribute album “Legende − en høylytt hyllest til Bjørn Müller” dedicated to Backstreet Girls singer and dear friend Bjørn Müller (1960−2024). Nearly 30 bands participated, The Gratitudes with a version of “Too Cool For You” from the Backstreet Girls album “In Lust We Trust” (2023).

This is the only The Gratitudes recordings with Anders Møller on drums (Gluecifer, Euroboys, My Midnight Creeps, Ulver, Paperboys etc.). Album released October 25th.

 

Drummer leaves stage – and band!

Aug. 1st. After four songs during a gig at Last Train, Oslo, drummer Magne Vannebo drifts off to the bar, never to be seen again.

Luckily Jonas Fløter Kjærnsrød (Backstreet Girls/De Press) was in the house, he did the rest of the gig and has stayed with us ever since.

 

Some merch left Sep. 2nd.

Following a summer of great gigs and ditto merch sales, we still have some merch available, including a limited number of vinyl copies

of “Degenerates Are Back” and t-shirts, and of course buttons, beer openers etc.

 

New record in the making

Oct. The Gratitudes are currently working on new material for second full length, to be recorded early January 2026.

This album will be packed with face hitting killers and thrillers, no posturing fillers. All in the key of great fun, as usual.

 

The Gratitudes to play Caliban SessionsNov. 22nd.

The band will join the annual event at John Dee, Oslo, along with Black Debbath, Bare Egil Band, Radiofantomene, Göttemia and others.
